Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an evidence-based model that has been a part of Delaware for the last 30 years.  PAT provides optimal early development, learning, and health of young children by supporting and engaging their families.  It is a statewide program serving children from birth through five, focusing on school readiness.  The program aims to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and increase children’s school readiness and success
