For 20 years, Baba Bomani, a seasoned producer and MC has shared his expertise through arts-integrated workshops, assemblies, and professional development using his curriculum, BARS. His impactful blend of life experiences, musical talent, and poetic skills have been featured on BET and MTV2. As a Kennedy Center for the Arts teaching artist, Bomani has performed at prestigious venues like the Washington National Cathedral and the Fillmore in New York City. He is affiliated with various organizations, including Young Audiences and the United Arts Council. Baba Bomani also founded Watermelon Day at Sankofa and the Frederick Douglass Writing Club, promoting community, education, and literacy.
