You can't spell books without BOO! Join us October 25th for a Pumpkin Carving Contest! All proceeds will be going towards to our library to support the essential services we offer the community! This is for participants 18 years or older and all participants must register in-person at the circulation desk and pay the $5 registration fee. Families are welcome to come out and view the pumpkins before heading over to the local Boys and Girls Club for their Trunk-or-Treat! Check below for more rules and details!
Let’s make this a spooktacular event and help our library thrive. We can’t wait to see your amazing creations!
- Register in-person at the circulation desk (registration ends 10/18 at 6:00 p.m.)
- This contest is for people 18 years or older.
- All registered pumpkins should be carved at home and brought in to be judged by our panel of judges, NO PUMPKINS WILL BE CARVED ON THE PREMISES.
- First Place: $50 Visa Card
- Second Place: $30 Visa Card
- Third Place: $20 Visa Card
- Apple Cider and Fall Treats will be provided for participants and viewers!
- After the contest, come visit our Trunk-or-Treat set-up at the Boys and Girls Club!
Rules
- No vulgar/explicit pumpkin designs (this is a family friendly event!)
- All pumpkins must be carved but paints/markers can be used as well.
- All entries must be dropped off by October 25th before 5:00 p.m.
- Judging will occur between 5:00-5:30 p.m.
- Winners will be officially announced at 5:45 p.m.
- One pumpkin per person, only one winner per household.
